Is there anywhere i can get the icr1 indy, or maybe even it already converted to icr2? i want to use it for my early 90's indy 500s since it looks more appropriate to that time. Thanks!

There is an ICR1 converted Indy in the Archives:
http://icr2.net/archives/tracks/indy67/page.html It is a 1967 version of Indy made by TonyK then updated by myself to include the old apron. Although it is for 1967 it could work for your early 90's races too. so check it out

Here's a version with a bunch of updated graphics and stuff, if the AI sucks, try copying the LP files from the '67 one or the the one that memoluis uploaded. Unfortunately I can't give the appropriate credits for this one, since I don't remember where it came from, I think I used a combination of Horizons plus a N2 version, converted back to ICR2.

memoluis- I like it! but there's this weird problem with the walls in the track. It looks like someone spilled paint on the walls. I uploaded a picture to show you what I'm talking about. Any ideas?
and OI812, I'm wanting to try the version you uploaded, but when I put it in the tracks section and load the game, it shows me "No track directories were found" and then closes. What could be the issue?

Are you unpacking the .rar file correctly ? Because the track works for me

Any ideas?Well, instead of turning off the crowd and horizon textures, I'd just turn the wall texture off, I have the same problem, except instead of purple, the color is black. Also, I'd don't know what the problem could be with my track; so here's a bunch of ideas. Do you have too many tracks in your tracks folder now? Did you try having two versions of indy in there at once and they're conflicting? or do you have a folder inside a folder? like cart/tracks/indy/indy?

The purple or black you see is an easy graphic fix. There are certain colors the game doesn't like and it just reads them as a real funky color.

I managed to fix the color issue with memoluis's icr1 indy by turing off the wall texture like he said. I think its just certain colors that the game doesn't like(just like Tony said) in this case, the brightest white. I've had trouble painting cars because they use the brightest white and the car would show up blue or black. I fixed it by switching to a slightly darker shade.
and OI812's track, Yeah I didn't unpack the .rar correctly, Thanks Tjerk!

I've found these #'s for colors to be a problem -
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8. There may be others but these are the ones I have in my notes and completely avoid using them during track graphic editing when running in the Windows ICR2 version. |
