So this past weekend my dad passed away. I went home to visit my mom, and my cousin converted some old VHS tapes to digital where we had footage of my dad. He also had this VHS of my very first experience with going to the Molson Indy Toronto. This is what got me into CART and really changed my life. Thought I would share with you guys.

First of all my condolences to you and your family. And that's some really nice footage you posted. Amazing how close you could get to the crews working on the cars.

Looking at this footage indycars were damn fast, look like even faster than a Formula 1 but we all know that it is not true, at least on road courses. Anyway Indycar was toe to toe with F1 back in this era before Tony George messed everything with those stupid IRL cars.
