Strange AI Behavior Long Beach
#1
Hello everyone, I have a strange occurrence I want to solve.

I was racing a 50% distance race on the vanilla long beach track and using Earl Ma's 1995 car set. At about lap 35 or 36 the AI starts to pit. But for some reason when the AI exit their pit boxes they all clip through the outer pit wall and drive along the grass between the pit and the race track and then clip back out at the end. This caused a yellow flag and I got behind the pace car. For some reason the AI were passing me and the pace car, so I went from 1st to 12th on track. After they got around the pace car, the AI slowed down and caused huge traffic jams on the track. I should have won this race but this glitched yellow dropped me and two cars behind me back 2 laps behind Micheal Andretti who was way back in the feild and somehow had the lead of the race and would go on to win.

Any explanation or fix for this strangeness?

I found this issue and fixed it a few years ago. Search for "long beach has a bug from papyrus". It should be a 2018, or 2017 thread.
