dont know why it didnt take my message:

So after playing around with it somewhat, I did a small portion of the dogleg the way you drew out and it felt completely different when driving on it. I would love to get ahold of the original dat file from that simulator and see what all they did exactly. I also saw the turn 1 road course part on the video that was posted a few days ago too (in addition to the backstretch).

Man thank you! I just ran my first race on it and it's wonderful. Love having Daytona in N1 to experience those drawn out fields that were a little more usual back in the early 90's. I love it and 11 year old me lost his damned mind! Count me in for any more N1 content. :::cough cough indy cough cough:::

I once upload somewhere my N1 track conversion but I think they are lost now.

Below in N1 folder you will find my Daytona for N1 and some other tracks. In N1 four tracks have wrong layout: Darlington, Talladega, Phoenix and Watkins Glen. For N2 Papyrus fixed them (all other tracks layout were unchanged from N1, only graphics improvements). So I converted this four tracks to N1.

If you are interested there are files for other papy sims there too

Daaaang! You've got some good stuff too. Thanks for sharing that. If you ever do come across N1 Indy let me know! That's still the one track I need to do the season I am preping for on it.

Reason i think it may be possible is the games use similar .txt files for the tracks.
