I followed BobLogSan's advice to reorder cars by editing cars.3do and can confirm that this method works. I might take a quick break from track editing and see if I can write a utility to do swap cars as I can see this being useful. I would be curious how editing drivers2.txt and the cars.3do might impact a championship season, whether AI driver points would get swapped too.

On the '19 carset i forgot to do the players car, these are the values.

on all carsets i have done i have given the players car the same values as the champion of that particular season.

Also i haven't done it but make the files "read only" so the game doesn't edit out the chassis/engine names etc
