Sorry Bob I've never used it. Always used the DOS version for 25 or so years.

At work I had old notebook Dell Latitude D630 with Windows XP SP3 32-bit installed. And somehow icr2 windows version (windy) runs on it. But on my home PC under same Win XP it doesn't work. So I think problem with windy not working on modern systems is not related to OS but to hardware. I think windy has proble starting video mode on modern videocards.

Ok, so it looks like in order to replace cars through the paint shop in windy I need .car files. The Pits archives have a dead link to "DOS Indycar/NASCAR setup editor" which says it can produce the proper files - it says it's a text file and in notepad it looks like it's the livery, 3do colors and driver info all in one. Does anyone have a copy of that or some other converter or info about the .car file format?
