First of all, welcome to the forum! If you want to race with flat rims, check out my 1991 carset... https://icr2.net/forum/showthread.php?tid=1234
They look awesome, how do i get those wheels on 1990 carset etc?

Check my last reply on this page.
You'll need dooDat for switching a carset's rims.

If you can't get dooDat to work, I was able to use WinMip2 to unpack and repack the .dat files, and convert the .mip into .bmp format. There are 6 wheel texture files (3 each for Goodyear and Firestone) for the stopped/slow-speed version, and two motion-blurred versions.

It is not updated anymore, but it's a valuable source of knowledge. I think our Wiki can point to it if the documentation is already in the book, however there are gaps in the book that might need to be expanded in the Wiki itself.

Hello,

I didn't realize that it's been over ten years since I've updated the book for the last time.
But the project is not dead (yet)

@Fastwalker, thanks for checking in. It would be wonderful to have an update of the book! We've made a lot of discoveries just within the past couple years.
