Get well soon mate! And thank you for the hotfix, but remember this is all just a hobby for us so take good care of yourself before doing any of this!

You are a hero! Please do not over do it. As others have said, it is just a game and for fun. Take care of yourself first!

I am having issues getting the Lola Indy 500 1995 carset working with rendition. I have reduced the mips, but getting a "not a valid carset" error upon selecting it. Am I missing something else to get this to work?

Is it this one?

(You'll have to zap the .DAT file in the carset folder, otherwise the game will prefer the compacted DAT instead of the expanded version.). Try your mip-reduced version first before this.

I think this one needed half it's mipmaps reduced to work. If it's not this one can you post a link to the carset.

[EDIT] Found the right set:https://www.icr2.net/archive/uploads/1995indy.zip
That one needs investigation.

I got Rendition to just try and up the gameplay since the DOS version is better than WINDY. However, I can't get my pedals/wheel to work.

I have a Logitech G920 and i have it set to 4axis

here is my settings.

joysticktype = 4axis
timed = true
autofire = false
swap34 = false
buttonwrap = false
circularinput = false
circularinput2 = false
deadzone = 10
deadzone2 = 0
multithreaded = false
usejoystickids = true
joystickids = 0
axesmapping = 0,1,2,3

Otherwise Game works just fine

Sorry for the delay, I'm having some health issues at the moment, but I really need to put in some time into the wrapper and icr2.

Could you run dosbox, close it and then click view logs in rlauncher.

 If you scroll down the dosbox-rendition log file, which should be the topmost log file, it should list all available joysticks, either by name or as Xbox controller #1. Could you post that list here or click zip up log files in rlauncher and email the zip file which appears in file explorer to support@nirvtek.com (with the subject wheel).

If you lack the patience for that, try using
Usejoystickids =true
Joystickids= (try using numbers from 2-16, you've already tried 1)
 running the game with each joystick id to see if it works.

Could you try:
Usejoystickids=true
Joystickid=0

And see if it works.

It's an xinput device, but dosbox-rendition doesn't see it like that. I think it tries to access it as an directinput device. Try it and see. If it doesn't work, I'll add support for it in person next release.
