Appreciation for nooRok - checkpoint10 - 02-14-2022

Some of you would be aware that nooRok (formerly BobLogSan) has previously made new tracks for ICR2, the updated IndyCar carshape and full carsets, and ICR2 modding tools in Python that several of us rely on today. In short, one of the most impactful contributors to the ICR2 community although I do not know if nooRok has visited this forum in recent years.

Recently I learned through communication on Twitter that nooRok was in hospital and is now recovering. I do not know any more details, but the important thing is that nooRok seems well enough to be responsive and probably could use some cheer from this forum.

I just want to say that nooRok's 3d23do Python script is a complete game changer for modding tracks, and nooRok is really great to regularly update the script based on our feedback. Where I have sometimes posted videos of Nashville combined with a 2020 carshape to demonstrate what can be done with ICR2, nooRok plays a big part in making those things possible.

I hope to gather everyone's well wishes on this thread and send to nooRok in due course.

Oh this is terrible news that something happened however I really appreciate nooRok and I'm so glad he is recovering. I really hope he gets well soon and stay in good mental health as well. It's easy to get depressed from this kind of thing. I will be thinking of him. We have a very small community so when something like this happens it is really huge.

That sounds worse than mine. But at least he can get rehabilitation, which helps in the recovery process. I wish him, to be able to do at least the same, what he could do before.

I hope it nothing serious. Wish him speed recovery.

Oh wow, that is not great to hear, especially in a time like this.
Hope he makes a quick and complete recovery.
