To those who claim Houston is crashing- I know Pavel made a working version of Houston- I raced it in my 1996 season and had no issues with the track crashing. Your crash may be related to the carset issues we have been uncovering lately. For some reason, the carsets I've been making do not lead to this issue (don't ask me why). You may want to try those. I did extensive testing at Pavel's houston and I've not seen any issues. Also- as for the Denver 90/91 pits but, we will likely solve that when we get to modify that track. My guess is it is related to the PIT part of the TXT but it could be LP related. The detroit 99' yellow flag bug is going to be related to the PIT line in the TRACK TXT. I'll bet you lunch on that. I posted how to fix this in several places now. There are 2 values in PIT that reference the DLONG position where the cars switch to RACE from PIT and PACE from PIT. If the one used under yellow is wrong, cars won't switch back to PACE. Details on the yellow flag bug fix for Caesars here.... https://www.icr2.net/forum/showthread.php?tid=1104&pid=9288#pid9288 RE: Caesars Palace Track Beta RELEASE!!!! - JR82 - 04-18-2020 (04-18-2020, 09:15 AM)samsepi0l Wrote:(04-17-2020, 07:31 PM)JR82 Wrote: Fantastic, from memory Denver (90's) has pit lane issue where there is a pileup in the pits, Houston (late 90's) crashes, Detroit '99 has issue where the cars that pit under yellow overtake the pacecar & lap everyone else. can't think of any others at this stage that are either not there or have issues. there could be more but i have forgotten them. Cheers, with the carsets do you have a link? I use the carsets on it than ran there for that particular season. edit - these are the pit values for Detroit '99 PIT -360000 68467886 70482185 70083000 1975523 -544000 7327426 28 69983000 69983000 4384216 PIT -360000 68467886 70482185 70083000 1975523 -544000 7327426 28 69983000 69983000 4384216 If the 11th value needs to be greater than the 10th value how do we know what it should be set at? Can this be done with trk23d or would you have to edit the 3d file manually? You can do it with 3doedit. IIRC you just click on a top-of-the-wall vertex and enter a new z value. Might be a bit tedious to do a whole track, but not hard.
