Hey guys, i need some help, maybe someone could help me....
I want to understand the number in this file to edit and create a most close performance as a real season, cause i made a carset for 2006 season with a carshape that works in homestead light and realize that the perfomance are so different, so someone knows for each number in the drivers2.txt are..............

Dinfo = Drivers info
3 = number of car
0 = ?
0 = ?
1 = ?
400 = ?
....

but.......and the other numbers, what means....

ps-i try to upload the carset but without sucess, even the screenshoots when i press print screen the picture wasn?t in the game folder...
thanks
welcome to the forum!

yes, 3 is the car number.
the next 3 refer to other lines in the file.
0 = chassis (0,1,2 from CHASS line)
0 = engine (0,1,2 from ENGIN line)
1 = tires (0,1 from TIRES line)
the next are in groups of 2 values, minimum/maximum, range from 000 to 999
400 450 = power (acceleration)
285 345 = traction
305 395 = aerodynamic drag
900 930 = driver aggression

try CTRL+PRNTSCRN for the screenshots.
Oh,yes!

Hi!
I forgot to tell you that i used the Indy07 carset to get those results.
and you better take a look at the Ics2k6 drivers.txt as a reference.Because It is the IIRS 2006 carset and I belive it is the most close to the real drivers skills that you can get.
They also think about the real race drivers levels<:?|

i use notepad. there's also an old program called (IIRC) CrewChief that can be used to edit drivers2.txt, but i find it easier to edit the file directly.
Well now. Try this util , makes it a whole lot easier.??It is called CRHQ

also - use this for editing the driver.txt file -
