I have Windows 7 on my computer and the game Indycar Racing 2 only works using Dosbox, but I'm having problems. The game isn't working with full screen as it should. I've already tried everything possible, nothing has been resolved. The game doesn't go full screen. I would like to know if anyone can help me solve this. I've already tried all the settings, it didn't work. If anyone can help me, I'll be grateful.
Hi. Did you try alt+enter when in dosbox and it didn't work? Another option may be to install the dosbox ECE version. That's what I have and it works great for icr2 (incl full screen). I'm on Win11 these days but did previously have icr2 on win7. My recollection is dosbox was fine with it (think I'm remembering right). Windows version also used to work natively for me in Win7. May be worth installing that and see how it goes.

Good evening, do you have this version? If you do, I really want to play my Indycar Racing 2 again. Where can I find it?
Do you mean dosbox type dosbox ece? If yes, just type that in google or similar and download options should come up. If you want best version of indycar 2 you could download it from an abandonware site like "my abandonware". Make sure to get patched version
you can play icr2 in high resolutions now with RReady (Rendition Verite wrapper)

I also use Win7 for gaming and the easiest way to run ICR2 is to use the Windows version of the game.
It's called CART Racing, but despite the different name it's the same ICR2.
It's available at MyAbandonware:
https://www.myabandonware.com/game/cart-racing-g6q

The file is an iso file, but there's no need for installation. Just open the iso file (even winrar or 7zip will do the job) and extract it's contents into an empty folder.
Then you can start the game from WINDY.EXE
It's not working, the game screen isn't filling up, I give up, I'll never play again, nothing is working, I want help, otherwise I'll never play the game again, unfortunately
Windy should work on Windows 7 ans 10. I tried to run it on several maschines without problems. What exactly do 'is not working'? Is there any error messages?

Also maybe yoy need try direct draw wrapper (dgVoodoo)

In the Windows version the game menus are always in windowed mode but if you go to the actual track it's fullscreen.
Another advantage of the Windy version is the stable 60 fps compared to 30 fps of the DOSbox version. (At least on my system)
