Just curious as to what AI strategy's ppl are running for each type of track? How many stops & gap in pit windows? the default is 1-2 laps & 2 stops, has anyone had better, more exciting races with a bigger gap & more stops? say 3-5 laps & 3-4 stops?
I run a 40 gallon tank in practice and see how many laps I can do. This will take into account traffic. Just for example- I completed a 100% race at Pavels "meadowlands oval" track and I was getting about 48 laps to a tank. I then adjusted the line in the track.txt file to 48 and 50 so AI would be similar to me. Seemed to work quite well. Race was at 100% length (150 laps) and I had no yellows (incident free race, not that the yellows were turned off- they were on) and everyone had to stop 3 times (last time was a fuel and dash)
Cool, do you use 3 lap windows & 3 stops at most races? just seeing if any update is better than the 2 lap window/2 stops on the tracks atm.

it depends on the lap length. Elkhart Lake would be a 1 or 2 lap window.
a Mile long oval like phoenix, nazareth or milwaukee could have a 5 lap window or maybe more.
