IIRS 2012 has started
The settings for the Endurance race at Daytona have been added to the site. Again, Daytona will consist of 8 stints for 320 laps of racing.
The schedule for the 2012 IIRS schedule is available. All settings are being finalized and will be uploaded before February 15th. The schedule has been shortened, but we hope we can add at least a 16th race.
With regards to the Endurance racing we have added a little twist to the schedule and the rules. First of all, the rules have been slightly altered to allow for (even) more competition. The Endurance season now consists of three races, Daytona, Road Atlanta and Le Mans which will be run in a different format.
The Hotlap Competition has seen a small revision. The amount of tracks made people wary of going back to a track and improve their laptimes. Therefor, all tracks on the IIRS schedule have been removed from the Hotlap Competition. This also allows us to keep the schedule manageable.
And now, it is, off to the races!!
