What is the reason that races on the Houston track first start fine but then crash after one lap. I've tried several time to install the track once again but still the problem remains the same.
Hmm, I don't know. Do you have ctd in practice, qulify, training? I know only one thing that can cause game crashes in race - it is wrong LP. But with wrong lp's game crashes in practice and quals too, and on warm up lap in race.
It works when adjusting the BLAP and RELS to slower speeds.
Strange. I test all my tracks with default Icr2 carset CARS95. I adjust BLAP and RELS with this carset. Many other carsets have Driver.txt with high values and AI car are too fast. Maybe your problem is with wrong Driver.txt. Oli, try Houston with default track txt and with CARS95 carset. If it still will be crash then problem is with track.
Make sure all the files inside the track folder are NOT set to read only. I had this problem with Pavel's Australia and found that the files were read only. When I changed them the crashes stopped.
