Well, after giving up on running CART Racing (the windows version of ICRII) I decided to give it another try after installing a new video card in my PC.
Not only does it now work, but it is running rock solid with no crashes (so far

), and I can use Direct Draw and get the game to run in full screen.
I have really missed being able to run this game, so I am very happy.
Now all I have to do is re-install all of my favorite tracks and add-ons.

Good job, just now when I gave up for good and moved to rFactor

Don't you race that as well? The indycar mod in it is pretty solid although I've been running the F1 mod online most of the time. With the mouse because I don't have a steering wheel anymore

At first it was a bit werid but now that I'm used to it, I can run within a couple of seconds from the fast guys and keep on the track for the short online 8 to 10 lap races

I almost forgot how much fun simracing can be!
I have the 2007, 2008 and 2009 Indy Mod for RFactor...Is very awesome, if anyone can play in Network (But my connection is Mobile 3G...).
About ICR2, I tried in Windows 7, but it didn't play...Only in DosBox, but the performance is not good and is almost impossible config the steering wheel... For ICR2 and older games (as Nascar1 that I like play so much), I use my older Nootebook with Windows XP...

Hi Tjerk,
Yes, I do a lot of racing on rFactor, but I do all of mine off line. I just don't have a good enough internet connection for on-line racing.
Maybe someday.
