(I don't want to post a new thread for this)
So, please, I ask for a little help and/or suggestion.
Now I'm running the game on Windows 7. There's no need to set a compatibility mode. Actually, if I set to Win95 or other version, the game doesn't work. But, setting it to WinXP SP2 works just as if there's no mode chosen.
I have to check the 256 color option for the Windy.exe file, in order to be able to run/play with the normal colors. I mean, inside the cockpit or on the 'F10' external views, then I can have a proper image on screen. At first it works fine. But when I press ESC and go back to garage, for instance, then the Desktop background isn't a "mess of colors" anymore, and so when I go back to the track, then the colors on the image are a mess, as if I didn't choose the 256 color option.
I remember facing this kind of problem just a few times, and I just needed to press ESC and then immediately go back to track. Now, this trick is not working.
Is this possible related to the video card I have?

I think it seems that the setup done before getting into the game is lost when pressing ESC.
Another exemple: I set Windy.exe to run with a resolution of 640x480. At first is goes ok, the game main screen gets bigger and the desktop background gets messy. When leaving the session pressing ESC, then the main screen is back to its normal and small size, and there's no messy desktop background anymore.
my resolution is 1600x900
