I don't have an .mrk file in the N3_tools folder, I hope thats the problem. I didn't see one in the N3_tools folder when I downloaded the N3_tools, Where could I get one?
type "MARK_V1" in the notepad and save the file as icr2.mrk or whatever name you gave to your track. don't forget that my converter creates the new .trk file with the name icr2.trk. So if your .bat files are using motegi as track name you have to rename your icr2.trk to motegi. trk and the same for the .mrk.
I created a .mrk file like you said fastwalker and placed it in the N3_tools folder. I tried again and I got the exact same message. I was then thinking of maybe getting someone with a different OS to perhaps do it for me seeing as your only typing a few lines.
Then I remembered about going to start/run and typing those commands.
It worked!
I'll provide updates as I go along.
I'm only missing Motegi (a proper version, as I have trouble with Pavel's version) as to complete the full track list for the 2003-05 IRL Indycar seasons. If I get this accomplished I'm on my to having a full and accurate track list for my favorite years of CART! 1998-1999!

That will be the day!
After this, I think I'm just be missing New Vancouver and New Detroit.
(I believe Pavel might be doing New Detroit though.)
Status Update:
Some good news and some bad news.
I've been able to get this far in converting GP3 tracks with the help form you guys such as making .trk and .3do files. This will definitely help in the future for other tacks I'd like to have.
On the other hand, I took a look at the 3do file I generated in 3DOED and noticed the track is configured wrong. Nothing wrong with the walls alingment, the person who made it put the pits on the wrong side and the backstretch has a little kink in it that I don't like.
However, I did look at the GPL version of Motegi and It seems to have the correct layout. It needs TSOs, some changes to the colors of the grass, and other things. but I'll probbaly try that in the future.
So for now, GP3 conversions and work on Motegi will be put on hold for a little while. I need a break.
But I will have a good working version of Motegi one way or the other, be it trying the DOS version of ICR2 with Pavel's track, or converting and doing some work to the GPL version.
Hey! I've been working on learning how to convert GPL tracks to ICR2. The GPL version of motegi is what I'm working on right now. So far, I've gotten to where I need to get OPE working. When ever I try to type this command though:
C:\N3_tools\ope\ope.exe silver
(The track files are still named silver from when I converted the track from the GPLtoN3 converter)
I get a message saying it cannot find the silver.3do file, even though that file is in the OPE folder along with the rest of the track files that are supposed to be in the OPE folder(At least I think they are all there) What could be the issue?
check your error out log, it may help pinpoint a missing file or another issue. when using ope, you need to have all 3do's and mips present in the working folder. miss one and the track won't load. also, I've never been able to get ope to run in high res mode, always have to start in low res with "ope track /l" also, double check that trk23d made a good 3d file which then made a good 3do file without corrupting the original 3d (ope uses both files)
OPE actually works with the .3d file primarily so make sure that is in the OPE working folder too.
This is what i normally use, combined with the name of your track:
OPE.exe silver /p=sunny.pcx /n /a=20 /l
Did you read my page about OPE in the Tutorials ? It has info on which files you need as well:

A lot of helpful information you guys, I didn't know about the ope tutorial. I keep you guys posted.
